By removing an unused breakfast nook (and window) we were able to open up the kitchen and double the size and function for the family.

By removing the wall between the two rooms the family is able to utilize the space better.

Our neighbors mentioned that they were considering the idea of adding on a front porch and also perhaps a garage. They were unsure of the idea though because they just didn't know what it would look like. I took some measurements and drew up some simple line drawings for them to get a visual. I think the transformation was wonderful! Sometimes all you need is a simple visual to take your "dream" and put it into motion!
